DUSHANBE, October 16, 2010, Asia-Plus — A session of the Permanent Commission for Social Policy of the Eurasian Economic Community Inter-Parliamentary Assembly is opening in Dushanbe today.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) said EAEC MPs would hold talks with members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Social Issues, Family and Health Care.
During their stay in Tajikistan, member of the EAEC Inter-Parliamentary Assembly commission for social policy will also visit Tajik State Medical University in Dushanbe and Chorboogh orphanage in Varzob district.
The session will last until October 20, Sultonov said.
