KULOB, October 15, 2010, Asia-Plus — Labor migrant have remitted 68,676,669 U.S. dollars to banks in the Kulob zone of Khatlon province in January-September 2010, which is 1,787,697 U.S. dollars more than in the same period last year, Safarali Saidov, the deputy head of the branch of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) in Kulob said.
Over the report period, they have remitted 1,069,339,892 Russian rubles (RR) to local banks, which RR500 million more than in January-September 2009.
