DUSHANBE, September 8, 2010, Asia-Plus  — One the first independent radio stations of Tajikistan, Asia-Plus, will mark its 8th anniversary tomorrow.

Radio Asia-Plus became the first private radio station to go on the air in Dushanbe.  The radio started broadcasting on September 9, 2002 and it runs news bulletins in Tajik and Russian alternately on the hour, and plays music from all over the world.

The station broadcasts at 107 FM and its programs now can be picked up in Dushanbe and some near-by districts.
