DUSHANBE, August 28, 2010, Asia-Plus — An operation carried out by officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) led to the arrest of drug pusher at one of parking lots in Dushanbe on august 27.

The detainee is 36-year-ld resident of Kulob; his name is not disclosed in the interest of investigation, DCA press service said, noting that four kilograms of Afghan hashish were found hidden in his car.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
