KHUJAND, August 11, Asia-Plus – LLC «Tadjik-Chinese mining Company» which is located in Zarnisor locality (before – Altyntopkan), left on the rhythmical schedule of work and has delivered the first production. «AP» has informed about it to a regional administration of Kajrokum.

According to the source, currently both mines – Paibulak and Altyntopkan, and also concentrating factory are operating. There was produced over 2700 tons of a plumbum-zinc concentrate for the sum more than 8 million somoni. All production will be shiped for export to China because in Sogd region there is no processing factory. About 400 workers have been working on mines and factory.

«Meanwhile the enterprise works on diesel generators because till February of current year it received the electric power from Uzbekistan, and then without any explanations power supply has been stopped. The administration nevertheless plans to construct electrolytic transfer line from Zarnisor up to Matchoh district to supply the electric power on the enterprise», – has noted a source.
