DUSHANBE, June 29, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Mr. Ari Aysen has been appointed the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative in Tajikistan.

According to the IMF Resident Representative Office in Dushanbe, Mr. Aysen will assume an office on July 15, replacing Mr. Luc Moers, who had worked in Tajikistan since July 2006.

Before this appointment, Mr. Aysen had worked with the Central Bank of Chile since 2007.  In 2001-2007, Ari Aysen worked with the International Monetary Fund.
