Dushanbe. June 22. “Asia-Plus” — From now on journalists and editors of the media may address the Media Council, which is located in the Dushanbe Newspaper and Journal Complex, on issues connected with ethic and professional standards.

Secretary General of the Council Muhtor Bokizoda told the reporters that all applications are accepted in written form in two copies and with controversial articles attached. According to Bokizoda, the Council has already considered a series of issues concerning local publications. “The Council, in particular, considered and discussed a series of lawsuits and complaints regarding publications in Ozodagon, Paicon, Farazh, Asia-Plus and Millat newspapers,” he added.
