DUSHANBE, March 21, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Known CIS variety stars will perform a concert in Dushanbe on occasion of the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

The Bazmoro director general Olim Akramov told Asia-Plus that known variety singers Lev Leshchenko (Russia), Anne Veske (Estonia), Layma Vaykule (Latvia), music group Syabri (Belarus), Taisiya Povaliy (Ukraine), Soso Paviashvili and Varvara (both from Russia) would arrive in Dushanbe.  “The concert will take place at the Kokhi Borbad State Complex on April 26,” Akramov said.

According to him, the concert is initiated by Russia’s Muzykalnoye Agenstvo (Lev Leshchenko) and Tajikistan’s Bazmoro with support from the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC).
