DUSHANBE, April 2, 2010, Asia-Plus  – As of March 31, 2010, the government sold shares in open joint-stock company (OJSC) NBO Roghun for some 800 million somoni (equivalent to more than 182 million U.S. dollars), according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF). 

We will recall that to raise funds to complete construction of the Roghun HPP the government started to sell shares in Roghun to people on January 6 this year.  Tajikistan has reportedly issued 6 billion somoni (US$1.37 billion) worth of Roghun shares.
