DUSHANBE, March 4, 2010, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Bureau on Human Rights and Rule of Law (BHR) has released the annual report, Human Rights Situation in Tajikistan – 2009 (

www.hrt.tj

).

The BHR director, Ms. Nargis Zokirova, says the report includes monthly reviews describing various aspects of the human rights situation in the country (women’s rights, children’s rights, access to justice, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, respect for political rights, etc).

The report is prepared in the Tajik, Russian and English languages.
