DUSHANBE, March 2, 2010, Asia-Plus — The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Parliamentary Assembly’s (PA) information analysis and legal center will meet in St. Petersburg on March 4, according to the SCTO Secretariat.
The center will consider the process of ratification of agreements and treaties signed within the framework of the Organization, the results of a working meeting of delegations of parliaments of member nations of SCTO within the OSCE Parliament Assembly and discuss intensification of interaction and improvement of information exchange between the CSTO PA Secretariat and offices of parliaments of the CSTO member nations.
The meeting members will also discuss issues related to making preparations for international scientific-practical conference entitled “CSTO and Its Place in the System of European Security” and proposals on establishment of the monitoring institute for convergence of laws of the CIS member nations, the CSTO Secretariat said.
