DUSHANBE, February 4, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in the field of culture was a major topic of a meeting of Minister of Culture Mirzoshorukh Asrori with visiting Iranian delegation led by Mohammad Ali Zahrai, deputy head of Iranian president’s office, which was held here yesterday.

According to the Ministry of Culture (MoC), the sides, in particular, discussed issues related to launching joint Tajik-Iranian network and publishing a joint newspaper that would be distributed in both countries.

The newspaper is dedicated to make available materials about development of relations between the two countries.

They also agreed to organize TV bridge between Iran and Tajikistan in the framework of celebration of the Navrouz Holiday in Iran.

The Iranian side expressed readiness to support creativity projects in Tajikistan and provide assistance with training of personnel for Tajikistan, the source at a MoC said.
