The library of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi has got hundreds of books, published in Japan, about the culture and history, economics, arts, traditions and distinctive scientific and technological achievements of Japan.

The presentation of books in Japanese language was held at the Institute on December 23. It is reported that the books were donated to the institute by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The ceremony was attended by government officials, representatives of several ministries and departments, public organizations, media, students and teachers.

It should be recalled that the President of Turkmenistan paid an official visit to Japan last week. The department of the Japanese language was established at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages in 2007.
