Dag Halvorsen, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Turkmenistan with residence in Kazakhstan, presented his credentials to the Speaker of the Turkmen Parliament, Akja Nurberdiyeva, on October 19. On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the head of the Mejlis congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the high post and wished him successes in strengthening the friendly relations and cooperation between Turkmenistan and Norway.

During the meeting, the ambassador said that it was a great honor for him to represent his country in a state that is rightfully recognized as a peace center, actively contributing to the establishment of good neighborly relations and constructive dialogue with all nations in the common interests.

The sides expressed their mutual desire to enhance the constructive intergovernmental dialogue on all tracks.
