KHUJAND, October 6, 2009, Asia-Plus — Sughd police officers have seized 409.791 kilograms of narcotics over the first nine months of this year, which is 133 kilograms more than in the same period of last year, Nasim Olimov, an official with anti-drug squad within the Sughd police directorate, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
A totaled included more than 135 kilograms of heroin, 10 kilograms of raw opium and 264 kilograms of hashish.
