DUSHANBE, August 31, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Two children were killed and three others were injured on August 30 as a vehicle GAZ-63 overturned in Khatlon’s Baljuvon district, according to Tajik traffic police directorate.

The accident took place near the village of Salohbek in the morning.

“The driver apparently could not control the vehicle and it went into oncoming traffic and overturned,” said the source, “Five children where in the vehicle; two of them died and three other received various injuries and were taken to the Baljuvon central district hospital.”
