DUSHANBE, August 5, 2009, Asia-Plus — Master-classes for young painters from the CIS states are currently being conducted at Ilya Repin Museum Estate, Zdravnevo, in Belarus.
20 students at art schools and colleges from 10 CIS states, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, are participating in the master-classes that are being conducted with support form the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC).
Known artists from Russia and Belarus are conducting the master-classes for these young gifted painters, according to the IFHC spokesman Aleksandr Kalugin.
In the meantime, copies of two works by Ilya Repin – “Moonlit Night” and “Belarus” – have been handed over to the Museum Estate.
