DUSHANBE, July 8, Asia-Plus  — Two persons have been killed and one other has been injured by rockfall in the Darvoz district, Gorno Badakhshan.

According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the tragedy took place on the night of July 3-4 but because of bad communications they received that information only Tuesday afternoon.

The disaster occurred in the Dukharjo area; local 33-year-old woman Yakumbibi Sayrahimov and her 7-year-old daughter were killed and her 14-year-old son was injured as rockfall hit the area, the source said.
