DUSHANBE, February 14, 2011, Asia-Plus — A 21-year-old woman from Ghonchi district in Sughd province has been arrested on suspicion of killing her newly-born son, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI says the 21-year-old E.T. killed the baby shortly after giving birth alone at home in the village of Qizili on February 12.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the woman and an investigation is under way.
