Turkish company to ship electric power equipment to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, June 9, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Turkish company, SA-RA Group, is reportedly interested in Tajikistan’s market.

Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) press office reports representatives from SA-RA Group recently expressed their interest in local market during a meeting with the CCI deputy chairperson, Ms. Larisa Kislyakova.

During the meeting, Kislyakova reportedly briefed the SA-RA representatives on Tajikistan’s energy sector and hydroelectricity projects being implemented in the country, the source said.

According to him, the SA-RA representatives noted that they were interested in shipping electric power equipment to Tajikistan.

Representatives of the Turkish company are also expected to meet with managements of Barqi Tojik power holding and Pamir Energy Company (PamirEnergy) to discuss mutually beneficial cooperation, the source added.

Established in 1985,   SA-RA is a group of companies, mainly acting in the energy, construction and tourism sector.
