DUSHANBE, January 4, 2012, Asia-Plus  — 24-year-old Rahmon Toshmatov from the village of Isfisor in Sughd’s Bobojonghafurov district was found dead with head injury in lodging apartment in the city of Noginsk, Moscow oblast on December 22, Tajik Migration Service’s office in the Russian Federation said.

His 26-year-old fellow villager Sherali Abdurahimov was detained on the same day on suspicion of having committed that murder, the source said.  According to him, Abdurahimov admitted to the crime.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Sherali Abdurahimov under the provisions of Article 111 (4) of Russia’s Criminal Code – intentional serious bodily injury entailing the victim’s death by negligence.
