, June 30, Asia-Plus – On Thursday June 29, President Emomali Rahmonov presided over a meeting with participation of heads of power-wielding structures of the country.

’s Security Council Secretary Amirqul Azimov, Security Minister Abdurrahim Khairiddinov, Prosecutor General Bobojon Bobokhonov, Defense Minister Sherali Khairulloyev, Interior Minister Khumdin Sharipov, and others attended this meeting.
The source says the meeting focused on the implementation of agreements reached at a May 23 summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in
Minsk
.
The head of state ordered relevant officials to make work of the power-wielding structures on addressing modern challenges and threats concerted, as well as drew attention of those present to the necessity of close cooperation with power-wielding agencies of other member nations of the CSTO.
Rahmonov also demanded at the meeting that timely preparations should be taken to provide the country’s armed forces will all necessary things and ensure the regular work of the country”s power-wielding structures during the winter season.
