Commander-in-Chief of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Staff Headquarters Four-star General Chen Bingde is expected to visit Tajikistan on June 5-7.

In the course of his visit PLA Commander-in-Chief is scheduled to meet with Tajik Defense Minister Colonel General Sherali Hairulloev, Tajik senior law enforcement and government officials, a spokesman for the Tajik Defense Ministry Faridun Mahmadaliev told AP.

He said the talks will be focused on the development of military-to-military and military technical cooperation, training of Tajik officers in Chinese military universities.

In the course of his visit PLA Commander-in-Chief will take part in the first stone laying ceremony for the construction of a new Palace of Army Officers of the Tajik Defense Ministry.
