KHUJAND, February 22, Asia-Plus – A joint operation carried out by the Sughd police and prosecutor’s office has led to the arrest of the 45-year-old resident of Khujand Zuhro Mahmadjonova who was allegedly involved in trafficking local young women to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Dubai


, where she forced her to be engaged in prostitution.

The Sughd prosecutor’s office has brought charges against Zuhro Mahmadjonova under Article 132, Parts “A” and “B” of Tajik Criminal Code (recruiting people for the purpose of exploitation), according to the source.
