KHUJAND, March 17, Asia-Plus – The Sughd regional court has sentenced Akmal Saydaliyev, resident of the Hamadoni district (Khatlon province), to seventeen years’ imprisonment for drug trafficking.   .

            According to information from the Sughd regional court, Akmal Saydaliyev in October 2002 purchased 120 kilograms of raw opium from Afghan citizen Mullo Ahmad and then brought the drugs to the Tajik northern city of
