, July 31, Asia-Plus – Tajik sportsmen have won one gold, four silver and two bronze medals at the world taekwon-do championships, which ended in the Bulgarian capital city of

yesterday.  

According to information from Tajikistan’s taekwon-do Federation, Tajikistan has managed to snatch its gold medal in the championships as Nigora Homidova finished first in –54 kilograms competitions.   

Daler Sharifi, Dilbar Bahriyeva and Mansour Rahmatov have finished second in their competitions and won silver medals.  Zarrina Ikromova and Behruz Nabiyev have won bronze medals.

The world taekwon-do championships in Bulgaria were held on July 27-30.
