DUSHANBE, January 4, Asia-Plus — New deputy ministers have been introduced to an administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection (MoAEP).  

A source at a MoAEP said that by government’s resolution Sulton Valiyev, formerly head of the Khovaling district, had been appointed the first deputy minister.  

Former head of the plant-growing department of the ministry of agriculture Shukrullo Rahimnazarov, former head of the committee for environmental protection and forestry Abduvohid Karimov, and former head of the Tojikobod district Sijouddin Isroilov were appointed as deputy ministers for agriculture and environmental protection.  

By president’s decree of November 30, the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Committee for Environmental Protection and Forestry were wiped out and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection was established.  Abdurahmon Qodirov, was appointed to head to the new ministry.
