DUSHANBE, August 29, Asia-Plus — Under a roaming agreement singed between Tajik cellular operator Babilon-M and Romanian GSM operator Cosmote Romanian, begging from today, Babilon-M’s customers will be able to automatically make and receive calls when traveling to Romania, Asia-Plus has learned from Irina Vorobyova, PR manager, Babilon-M.

According to her, customers of Babilon-M and Cosmote Romanian will also be able to send each other short messages. 

To get access to the automatic roaming service customer should have not less than $50 on his balance and when customer’s balance decreases to $25 this service is cut off, the PR-manager said.   

Babilon-M now has roaming agreements with more than 50 cellular companies in Europe and Asia, including Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan.  

Founded on January 1, 2003, closed joint-stock company (CJSC) Babilon-Mobile is licensed to provide cellular communication services in Tajikistan in the GSM-900/1800 and 3G-UMTS standards.  The company now has more than 550,000 clients. as well.
