DUSHANBE, September 14, Asia-Plus  — A broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan were discussed yesterday at a meeting of Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Saydullo Khairulloyev with visiting Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, press service of the Tajik parliament said.   

Tajik speaker highly appraised mutual visits of leaders of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, noting that they had given new impulse to further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.  During the meeting, he also briefed the Kazakh leaders on work of the Tajik parliament.  

            For his part, Nazarbayev expressed satisfaction with the present level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan and noted that both countries could expand their bilateral relations through using existing reserves and potentials.
