QURGHON TEPPA, March 3, Asia-Plus  — Resident of Khatlon’s Vakhsh district Safarmurod Ghulomov has got 20-year term of jail after having been convicted by a district court in Khatlon’s Qumsangir district on charge of sexually assaulting his minor cousin. 

The Qumsangir district court on February 25 ruled that Ghulomov be given a jail term of 20 years and that he should serve it a high-security penal colony.  

According to the Qumsangir district court, the preliminary investigation has established that Ghulomov raped his 14-year cousin when he arrived in the Qumsangir district to see his relatives.
