On the initiative of the Uzbek Leadership the volume of foodstuff production sees its rise whereas the new industries are being commissioned in the nation.

“Rise in demand for foodstuff globally, as well as the growth of prices naturally has an impact on our domestic market, as well,” head of the department of State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on demonopolization, supporting competition and entrepreneurship Olim Nazarov has been quoted as to have said to the Uzbekistan National News Agency, “taking that into account, Uzbekistan takes necessary measures to fill the domestic market. The country pays a particular attention to fully ensure the demand for food. With a view of protecting people”s interests the firm and stable retail prices for flour, oil and bread have been fixed at stores.”
