DUSHANBE, December 22, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring amendments to the law on amnesty regarding legalization of property at a December 22 meeting, presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev. 

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered a draft law on credit history and amendments to the laws on legal status of foreign citizens in Tajikistan, state duty, national budget for 2008, dehqon (peasant) farms, and education.

Some of these issues will be considered at the regular sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on December 23, Sultonov said.
