DUSHANBE, February 14, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A Lithuanian-Tajik business forum that was held in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, on January 12 resulted in signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Lithuanian Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the CCI press service said.

The forum was held on sidelines of President Emomali Rahmon’s visit to Lithuania and heads of 20 Tajik large enterprises and banks attended the forum.

Development of transportation and transit communication cooperation was a major topic of the business conference, the press service said.
