DUSHNBE, February 20, 2009, Asia-Plus  — As of January 31, 2009, capital of open joint-stock company (OJSC) Agroinvestbonk has amounted to more than 160 million somoni, which is 62.621 million somoni or 64 percent more compared to January 31, 2008.  As of January 31, 2008, 2008, Agroinvestbonk’s capital had amounted to more than 97.379 million somoni.

According to Agroinvestbonk’s head office in Dushanbe, 25.5077 million US dollars, more than 342.943 million Russian rubles (RR) and 162,800 euros were remitted to Agroivestbonk in January 2009.

Last month, the bank provided more than 20.8415 million somoni in loans and microloans accounted for 59 percent (more than 12.4 million somoni) of the overall volume of loans provided last month.

In the meantime, in January 2008, Agroinvestbonk provided more than 83 million somoni in loans.

Founded in 1992, Agroinvestbonk, with headquarters in Dushanbe, has main branches in Khorog, Khujand, Kulob and Qurghon Teppa and 61 other branches across the republic.
