DUSHANBE, June 11, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A two-day meeting of an expert group with participation of representatives from the CIS finance and other interested ministries concluded in Minsk, Belarus yesterday.

The meeting participants included representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.

Press release issued by the by the CIS Executive Committee says the draft conceptual foundations of cooperation in working quota setting was a major topic of the meeting , according to press release issued.

Formation of conceptual approach to cooperation between the CIS states in work quota setting has been initiated by the Russian Federation and it should take into account measures to stimulate development of standards of work, involve all participants of social partnership in this process and create appropriate databases on work standards.

The next meeting of the expert group for finalization of the conceptual foundations of cooperation in working quota setting is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2010.
