London is the world financial center 2009, reported “Business Week” with reference to the research of the World Economic Forum.

55 countries participated in the research. The World Economic Forum took into account 120 indexes, including the level of business climate, size of stock markets, development of technological infrastructures, human capital assets and accessibility of consumer and commercial credit.

Only two CIS countries, except Russia, are present in the rating; these are Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Kazakhstan took 47 place and Ukraine 53. In 2008 Kazakhstan took 45 place and Ukraine 51.
