DUSHANBE, January 21, 2010, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon who is also head of the Government of Tajikistan has introduced another staff changes.

According to presidential press service, Saidkhon Jurakhonov, who had served as head of Interpol office in Tajikistan, was appointed deputy minister of interiors.

Lolakhon Rahmonov, formerly head of the Interior Ministry state guarding department, was appointed to head the agency for special property at the Ministry of Economy and Trade, replacing Ismoil Shafiyev.  Ismoil Shafiyev was retired for age reasons.

Abdurahim Kholiqov, who had previously been head of the department for observing national traditions and rituals, was appointed head of the department for Constitutional guarantees and rights of citizens within President’s Executive Office.

Iskandar Rajabov was relieved of his post of adviser to the country’s Security Council and appointed head of the Interior Ministry personnel department.
