As of February 1, 2010 in Kyrgyzstan debts of population for consumed natural gas amount to 231.5 million soms, the press service “Kyrgyzgas” told the news agency.

Reportedly, 419 consumers in the country have been cut off gas supply system for 2 months for nonpayment in 2010. “Consumer must pay for the consumed volume of natural gas within three days from the moment of getting a receipt. If the consumer has a debt of over 800 soms, he will be cut off gas supply without a warning”, the press service informs.

As noted, a fine at the rate of 0.5 per cent of the main amount of debt is imposed for every day of payment delay.
