DUSHANBE, March 25, 2010, Asia-Plus  — World Bank Country Office in Tajikistan has started Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for Fiscal Years 2010-2013 consultations with Civil Society Organizations.

According to the WB Dushanbe Office, the goal of the consultation process is to present and discuss the proposed strategy and receive comments from the various groups of civil society.

CPS is a document that outlines World Bank’s program in the country for the period of the next 3 years and is developed in close collaboration with the Government of Tajikistan to reflect country’s development priorities. Civil Society participation in this meeting is crucial to provide their views, produce a coherent set of feedback and recommendations for the proposed strategy, and to establish new partnerships

The consultation meeting will take place in the Tajikistan Hotel in Dushanbe on March 31, 2010 from 09:00 to12:30.
