DUSHANBE, October 5, 2012, Asia-Plus  — The Agency for Employment, Migration and Social Protection of the Population (Agency) at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection is holding a fair of job vacancies in Dushanbe today.

Safarali Hakimov, the deputy head of the Agency’s office for Dushanbe, says more than 60 Dushanbe-based enterprise and organizations are participating at the fair offering 1,866 job vacancies.

“People who do not any specialty will be sent to take three-month training course on 40 specialties,” he noted.

According to the official data from the Agency, some 6,500 people have been registered with employment centers so far.

“Until the end of this year, 475 jobless will receive monthly unemployment benefit of 80.00 somoni each,” Hakimov said.

He added that 18 fairs of job vacancies have been conducted this year; some 770 people have been placed in jobs and more than 280 people have been sent to take vocational training courses.
