DUSHANBE, February 28, 2013, Asia-Plus — The Tajik Human Rights Ombudsman Office has released a report on the work done in 2012.
Aziz Soliyev, a spokesman for Tajik Human Rights Ombudsman Office, says the report reflects what the Tajik Ombudsman Office did last year. “The report also contains 93 recommendations for government bodies on how to improve the human rights situation in the country,” he said.
“To prepare the report we have used applications and complaints lodged to the Ombudsman Office by citizens, media materials, the monitoring results as well as materials received from government bodies and civil society,” Soliyev said.
