DUSHANBE, October 9, 2013, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently on a three-day working visit to the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), today morning arrived in Khorog, the capital of Gorno Badakhshan, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

Today, President Rahmon will also visit Shugnan and Ishkashim districts, where he will inaugurate a number of social and cultural facilities.

The head of state is also scheduled to hold meetings with regional administrators in Shugnan, Ishkashim and Khorog, the president’s website reports.   

We will recall that yesterday President Rahmon visited the Vanj and Darvoz districts.
