DUSHANBE, November 4, 2013, Asia-Plus — The Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) is expected to announce the preliminary results of the 2013 presidential election on November 7 at 10:00 am, CCER’s office head Abdumannon Dodoyev told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon.

According to him, the preliminary results of the election will be announced by CCER head Shermuhammad Shohiyon at a briefing for reporters that will take place Thursday at 10:00 am.  “The second briefing will take place on the same day at 2:00 pm,” Dodoyev added.

The final presidential election results should be announced no later than 10 days after the election.  The 2013 presidential election will take place in Tajikistan on November 6.
