DUSHANBE, November 4, 2013, Asia-Plus — Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee also CIS Executive Secretary, Sergey Lebedev, who heads the CIS election observation mission, arrived in Dushanbe overnight.

Abdumannon Dodoyev, the head of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER)’s office, says Lebedev is scheduled to hold talks with CCER chairman Shermuhammad Shohiyon and Foreign minister Hamrokhon Zarifi today.

Meanwhile the process of formation of international election observation missions has concluded today.  501 observers representing the OSCE/ODIHR, CIS, SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) election observation missions as well as observation missions from CIS and other countries have arrived in Dushanbe.  Besides, more than 80 representatives of foreign media have been accredited at the CCER, Dodoyev added.
