DUSHANBE, November 5, 2013, Asia-Plus — On Monday November 4, Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi met here with CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

Zarifi reportedly expressed gratitude to the CIS executive secretary for his fruitful work and successful holding of sessions of the CIS statutory institutions that took place in Minsk, Belarus on October 24 and 25.

In the course of the talks, the two also exchanged views on the presidential election in Tajikistan that is taking place tomorrow.

Zarifi reportedly assured Lebedev that the 2013 presidential election in Tajikistan will be free and transparent.
