DUSHANBE, April 3, 2014, Asia-Plus – Issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and the Czech Republic were discussed here on April 2 at a meeting of Mr. Sharif Said, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) with Mr. Ginek Peyha, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Tajikistan.

According to the CCI press center, the meeting was organized in connection with an official visit of the Czech President Milos Zeman to Tajikistan, which is scheduled for the end of this year.

A conference of representatives of the business communities of Tajikistan and the Czech Republic is expected to take place on the sidelines of the upcoming visit of President Zeman to Tajikistan.

In the course of the talks, Ambassador Peyha reportedly noted that the Czech Republic considered Tajikistan as a promising partner and was interested in successive expansion of trade and economic cooperation with Tajikistan.

For his part, Sharif Said noted that the CCI was ready to provide support to Czech companies seeking mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajik enterprises, the CCI press center noted.
