DUSHANBE, April 22, 2014 Asia-Plus /Avaz Yuldoshev/ — In connection with repair works on the water supply pipeline on the Pushkin Street, Dushanbe’s municipal waterworks (Dushanbevodokanal or DVK) will cut off water supply to some streets in downtown Dushanbe tomorrow.

An official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office says administrative and residential buildings located at the crossing of the Shotemur and Tursunzoda streets, administrative and residential buildings located on the Pushkin, Bokhtar and Tehron streets as well as residential buildings ## 53, 62 and 64 located on the Roudaki Avenue will be left without water from 8:00 to 24:00.

Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has ordered heads of Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district and DVK to provide residents of the mentioned streets with drinking water by means of water carrying trucks, the source added.
