DUSHANBE, November 13, 2014, Asia-Plus — Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament) yesterday endorsed a draft export control law.

Presenting the bill, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Sharif Rahimzoda noted that the law provided for rules of control over military-oriented equipment (weapons, ammunition, dual use technologies, and nuclear materials) exports from the country.

Majlisi Namoyandagon deputies unanimously approved the bill without discussions.
