DUSHANBE, February 26, 2015, Asia-Plus – Afghan TV channel Tolo has reported on completion of a large-scale anti-Taliban operation in Tagab Wuluswali, Afghan Badakhshan Province.

Tolo cited Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai, a spokesman for the Badakhshan police department, as saying that 51 armed Taliban fighters  were killed and 21 foreigners – nationals of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan  — were detained in that operation.

Afghan media sources report the operation lasted for two weeks and terrorists have now been cleaned out of Tagab Wuluswali completely.
