DUSHANBE, June 16, 2015, Asia-Plus — Gulborsho Vatanshoyev, the head of the service center of Orienbonk’s branch in the Ishkashim district of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) has been reported missing since June 12.

“Gulborsho Vatanshoyev disappeared in the morning of June 12 after leaving his home,” Dorob Qalandarov, the head of Orienbonk’s branch in the Ishkashim district, told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to him, Vatanshoyev’s jacket and mobile phone were found on the bank of the Panj River.  Qalandarov denied rumors that Vatanshoyev could commit suicide because of large debts as “unfounded.”

Gulborsho Vatanshoyev, 67, has worked in the banking system since 1978.
